Meet our Coaches
Eric T. Pittman CrossFit Coach at Fit & Fearless Austin
Eric grew up in La Grange then moved to Austin to jump at the opportunity to work as a CrossFit Coach at Fit & Fearless. Before moving to Austin, he worked as a personal trainer, strength and conditioning, and running backs coach at Arizona Western College. He became a CrossFit coach after realizing how challenging the workouts were and wanted to encourage people to push themselves, “I want everyone that steps through the door to get the most out of CrossFit.” He also works as a travel agent, and oil field roustabout. In his free time you will find him spending time with family, playing disk golf, biking, or out on the town looking to hear good live music.
Jeremy Ross
Jeremy Ross served for 5 years in the 82nd Airborne Division.
During two combat deployments to Afghanistan, he has worked with
federal agencies, Army Special Forces, Marine Force Recon/Special
Operations, Army Special Operations, and airborne infantry scouts and
reconnaissance. Jeremy got his start in fitness training working
with airborne intelligence collectors and Special Operations soldiers
to prepare them for the physical challenges of combat in Afghanistan
and is now a full-time senior in the Kinesiology program at the
University of Texas. Jeremy holds CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit
Olympic Lifting Trainer Certifications.
Jaz Parr
Jasmine Parr, AKA Jaz, has loved being active and involved in athletics since she was young. While attending St. Edwards University for her degree in Kinesiology, she was playing basketball for the women's team. During that time she realized helping train others to be fit and healthy was her passion. She expanded her experience and knowledge further when she interned under Coach Jeff Madden in the University of Texas Strength and Conditioning Department. Jaz is also NASM personal training certified and has her Level 1 CrossFit Certification. “I love pushing people to their limit and then saying give me 10 more! That is where CrossFit and I thrive." Besides training, Jaz's hobbies include being active outdoors, watching movies, participating in sports and traveling.
Kara deLeon
CrossFit coach and nutritional consultant Kara DeLeon is currently pursuing her degree in secondary education. Kara is a lifelong athlete with extensive experience in weightlifting, soccer, volleyball, track, and kickboxing. Never one to do anything half-way, Kara sought her coaching certification because she says, “CrossFit does what I want it to do, and I see the results in my body. CrossFit teaches me to dig down and push through any difficult situation that faces me.” Kara is a certified CrossFit level 1 coach, and has CrossFit certifications in Olympic Lifting, Barbell, Kids Training, and Nutrition.
