Our goal is simple: Make you able to run farther, faster without injuries and with minimal training.
Fit and Fearless CrossFit is headquarters for Master POSE trainer, Valerie Hunt, and the RunATX running team. Valerie runs a complete schedule of training classes in north and south Austin for new and experienced runners, 6 and 12 week race prep programs, and also coaches POSE swimming, and POSE Cycling.
We focus on 4 main aspects of training:
- POSE Technique Running, Cycling, and Swimming
- CrossFit Endurance WODS (short intervals, long intervals, tempo or time trials)
- Proper Nutrition
- Recovery and “Prehab” Injury Prevention
Be coached by certified Master POSE Running and CrossFit Endurance Coaches: You will receive instruction on proper running mechanics from the top POSE/CrossFit Running Coaches in the United States, including video analysis of your current running form and proper skills/drills to correct any problems.
Nutritional Guidance:One of our CrossFit Nutrition Certified coaches will help you establish a meal plan based on our unique concept of “Paleo/Zone” nutrition, which is geared toward both performance and reduction of systemic inflammatory responses, aiding in your recovery between workouts.
Program Planning: Whether you are a recreational runner preparing for your first 5K or an established endurance athlete seeking your “next step” in increased performance, we can custom tailor an individual program for you. Single- and multi-sport athletes are welcome, including short-, long-, and ultra-distance events.
The CrossFit “Support Group”: You will be training with like-minded individuals from all walks of life who have banded together to train with us for one reason – they LOVE CrossFit! In many ways CrossFit has rekindled their passion for sport and opened their minds (and bodies!) to a new method of training for endurance events.
What is the CrossFit Running Endurance Team? The CrossFit Running Team is trained to incorporate POSE running technique, CrossFit and the CrossFit Endurance strength and conditioning philosophy to improve all aspects of performance, including race time and endurance.
For someone looking to get into running for the first time, there is no better way to enter the sport than by joining our team. Members never have to race to train with us, although we will encourage them to.
