High Nutrition Salad

An optimal diet should consist of at least 50% raw vegetables and fruits to fight off inflammation, cancer and other diseases. If you just aren’t there yet, do your best to at least have one green salad every day. Nutritional yeast is one of my best go-to items in the cupboard. It is gluten free, high in fiber, protein and vitamin B12. It has an almost parmesan cheese flavor so it is a great substitute for cheese in salads. Here is a delicious and easy salad to supercharge your energy.

 

Dressing:

mix together and keep in the fridge for 1 week in a sealed bottle or jar.

1 tbsp hemp oil

2 tbsp cold pressed olive oil

2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast

1 tbsp balsamic vinegarette

a few shakes of cracked himalayan sea salt

 

Green Chard

1 tbsp hemp seeds

1/4 sliced yellow or red bell pepper

slivered green onions

handful of raw cashews

Home made bacon chips- I get the Black Forest bacon from Whole Foods

 

Chop up salad and serve with the dressing! Also can sprinkle more Nutritional yeast on top of the salad. Easy!
